Autodesk® Seek is the online source for building product information that allows designers to search, select and specify building products – your products! – along with associated design files such as 2D drawings, specifications, product descriptions, and 3D models. While working in their design applications such as AutoCAD® or Revit®, architects, engineers and designers can obtain accurate, information-rich results using the Autodesk Seek search functionality embedded within their applications.
In a common scene on Star Trek: The Next Generation, captain Jean-Luc Picard would walk up to an impressive, high-tech-looking console set in the wall and sternly say to it: “Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.”
The console would shimmer and sparkle and, after a few seconds, a piping hot serving of tea complete with cup and saucer would materialize, ready for drinking.
The technology was known as a “replicator” because it replicated real things out of thin air. But, as it eventually turns out with much of Star Trek ’s gadgetry, the technology is not so fantastical after all.
iZ3D LLC, designer, marketer and enabler of advanced 3D visualization systems, will be featuring a hands on demonstration of three of it’s upcoming product prototypes for 2009. iZ3D is located in meeting room #25118M in the Gaming Showcase downstairs in South Hall 2 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“We are continually pioneering new areas of 3D display for consumers with new display products, stereoscopic 3D software drivers, 3D player groups, events, and networking, 3D content certification and enablement, and system solution partnerships,” stated Thomas Striegler, CEO of iZ3D LLC. Introducing three cutting-edge 3D prototypes at CES is once again proving iZ3D is the defacto industry leader in 3D solutions,” he added.
